As a Product Manager, you will work closely with a cross-functional team to build and launch new experiences and features that impact the product. You will collaborate with engineers, designers, researchers, and analysts during the entire product lifecycle. Youll also work closely with the co-founders and VPs of various functions.
The role demands excellent execution, bold innovation, obsession with quality, solving problems with creativity while keeping the user in mind, and ambition to take projects to the finish line.
Our approach to design is completely based on insights coming from various sources, quantitative and qualitative both that include Analytics data, User Testing, Experiments run on products, etc. This helps us maximize the potential of the product to serve the users while minimizing absolute opinions.
- Identify market opportunities and define product vision and strategy for the Product.
- Understanding customer needs and consumer behavior through research, customer feedback analysis, click stream analysis, and direct interactions with customers.
- Analysing product metrics regularly and using the learning for product innovations and improvements.
- Innovating and delivering products that differentiate us from the competition.
- Conducting regular competition analysis and recommending a plan of action; should master the details of the competitive landscape.
- Working closely with Engineering, Research, Quality Assurance, Design, Finance, Legal, Customer support, and Marketing teams to create synergies leading to a high-quality product.
- Engage closely with the engineering team to help determine the best technical implementation methods as well as a reasonable execution schedule.
- Creating product specification documents and conducting product specification reviews with key stakeholders and relevant teams.
- Review product analytics to derive behavioral insights for adoption, growth, and user engagement.
Desired Candidate Profile
- 2+ years of work experience in product management.
- Core product management experience is nice to have, but in either case, you need to think hard about the question “Why do you want to be a product manager?”
- Ability to pull data using basic SQL queries and ask the right questions of data.
- Ability to work with engineers and designers to deliver products and metrics.
- You will mostly be on your own.
- A strong execution mentality.
- Gain a deep understanding of customer experience, identify and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience, and drive growth.
